Few home décor pieces are as classically beautiful as our hand-embroidered Florentina tablecloth. A scrolling vine design in regal blue tones creates a stunning centerpiece and border, with an elaborate floral motif embellishing each edge.

Centuries of elegant European design tradition and exquisite Indian craftsmanship come together to create these exceptional linens. European-inspired motifs are picked out against a crisp, 300-thread count white cotton base, using a shaded thread that blends softer Western hues with vibrant Indian colors. Pair with our Florentina embroidered napkins in complementary shades to create memorable tablescapes that enrich and elevate every meal.

We work with a non-profit in Western India that trains and empowers home-based women artisans to earn a steady, fair wage. Embroidery is a household passion for women in this region and the artisans are prolific, with an expertise in many embroidery stitches they learn in their families from a young age. The craftswomen who hand embroider the Florentina collection are meticulously trained in a European satin stitch embroidery technique, which they combine with a stem stitch common to their region, passed down through generations.

Your purchase directly impacts the livelihoods of the artisans, while also helping to preserve these ancient artistic traditions. And due to the care and skill that goes into each piece, these linens will survive for generations as well.
